The inauguration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, May 29, 2023 would have elicited pomp and pageantry that is always associated with inauguration of such magnitude but the illegitimacy burden that the administration bears because of the way and manner the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC  suspended the procedures it established to announce him the winner. In many cities including Abuja, the conviviality that was associated with such ceremony in the past was absent because the electorate believe that the results announced by INEC did not in any way represent their votes at the various polling units across the nation. Although the outcome of the announcement is being challenged at the Presidential Election Tribunal, most electorate has decided to distance themselves from celebration enthroned by victory believed by many to have been stolen.

In this edition, we, in our usual tradition have gone into town to x-ray how the administration of Tinubu is received by the citizenry, the contentions and controversies that would for a long time taint his administration if the judiciary does not abort the administration before its expiration because of the enormity of evidences at display in the premises of the Tribunal.
