The Ancient Kingdom of Umuihi in the Ihite/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State honors one of its illustrious sons, PMC Okeke who was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Ogbughere Uzo 1 of Umuihi

Indeed it was a celebration galore in Isinweke village in Umuihi Ancient Kingdom on the 28th December, 2023, when Sir PMC Okeke was conferred with the Ogbughere Uzo 1 of Umuihi title in the sprawling sub-urban headquarters of Ihite/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State.
The ceremony which coincided with Umuihi day celebration attracted many visitors from far and wide making the event a memorable one as football matches were staged in honor of the celebrant.
Okeke is the first to be conferred with the exalted title of High Chief from the Ancient Kingdom of Umuihi by the His Royal Highness Eze J.C Uwalaka the Ihi III of Umuihi and the traditional ruler of the community.
His love for his community, commitment towards developments of both physical and human resources in the land, selfless service to humanity earned him the recognition for the title.
He was born in Umucelem Umuchi after the Nigeria civil war from a humble Catholic Family. PMC as he was fondly call by friends and admires was not born with a silver spoon. Like every other home grown boy, he left the shores of Nigeria after his early education in Umuchi to seek for a greener pastures in Europe and Asia, he garned certificate and degrees from reputable Universities, include MBA degree from London University. He returned to Nigeria to invest instead of Europe as a young entrepreneur, he settled in Port Harcourt and establish a business that has now blossomed into a conglomerates.
High Chief Sir PMC Okeke is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO Ave International Concept, Nigeria Ltd. Ave International United Kingdom and Ave International Foolball Club Isinweke in Imo State, also, the founder of Sir PMC and Helen Okeke foundation and just of recent he floated a weekly tabloid IKORO OKIGWE Newspaper.
The Ogbughere Uzo 1, is a community leader and charitable man who is loved by his people and trusted friends, a member of Nigerian Oil and Gas Forum and is widely traveled and studied voraciously for human and business management.
The Oil Mugul, is a renowned chorister of the mother church, the holy Catholic church, a onetime Port Harcourt Deanery Choir President, one Diocesan Choir President, a Knight of St John’s International (KSJ), he is happily married to Lady Helen Pat Okeke, an economist and financial experts and they are blessed with children.
