The executive members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAF) South East Zone paid a courtesy visit to the Controller Federal Operations Unit FOU Zone “C” of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Owerri.
The group was led by the zonal Vice Chairman, Chief Christopher Uwakwe alongside other chapter chairman and their secretary.
Speaking during the visit, Chief Christopher Uwakwe expressed their happiness welcoming him and pledge to work and support throughout his stay.
“We are members of National Association of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAF) South East Zone and have come welcome you our dear Comptroller the members of NAGAF believe in doing the right thing, anything that will work against the Government of Nigeria our members will never attempt it. We are here to continue our unalloyed support by welcoming you and your team with hundred percent support. Whatever that may cause or be a challenge to you tenure arising from our operational relationship please do not hesitate to call our attention and notice and such will be resolved amicably”.
Responding to the group, Comptroller Ugbagu who welcomed the executive members of NAGGAF South East Zone calling them by their names, expressed his appreciation, seeing familiar faces.
Comptroller Ugbagu said, “I thank you all for this visit and I urge you the executives members and other members to never relent in your support, dedication, contributions and effort towards the progress and success of the Nigeria Customs Service and the country at large, I promise to work with you within the Customs rules and regulations for the good of all”.
