Dishonesty of the Ruling Class

The Federal Government led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no integrity. It is a government of dishonesty, deceit, lies and lacking in humanity. It is said that whatever that is given birth to by a snake must be long, this is the symbol that typifies the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led central government in Nigeria.

This government and its dishonest and deceitful approach to governance reminds one of its immediate predecessor led by Muhammadu Buhari, which swam in lies and deceit throughout the eighth wasted years it held the country hostage. Recall that the spokesperson for the Buhari government, Lai Muhammed, at a point was given an ignoble sobriquet “Liar Muhammed” by Nigerians who got fed up with his numerous lies.

Under Buhari, it was a government of bare-faced lies. But under Tinubu, it is a matter of deceit and double dealing with Nigerians. Who would expect anything good from APC? Hence, in the next seven years Nigeria will continue to wallow in the dark, without direction, without clear cut leadership. This is because in 2027 when another presidential election would come, Tinubu would still win whether he wins for real or wuruwuru, pardon my gutter language. The INEC Chair, Mahmood Yakubu must perfect his magic.

Is there any wonder that after the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio denied knowledge of any proposal for the acquisition of two Presidential Jets before the Senate, less than two months, an Airbus A300 airplane has been procured for Tinubu amid hunger protests in the land. More nauseating is the fact that the now contentious aircraft took a whopping N150 billion out of the ailing coffers of the nation? Tufiakwa!

As tongues are beginning to wag over the aircraft that has been confiscated by a Chinese firm over a French court order, we at Tentacle disappointedly invite you to join us in this edition that raises many questions that may never be answered till the end of the age. Savour the reading!
