The value for human life in Nigeria is ebbing at an alarming rate.  It has been argued in some quarters that the life of a cow in most instances in the country is more important than human life.  On daily basis lives of innocent citizens of this country are daily being spilled on the altar of supremacy between the non state actors and state actors.  Killing of innocent citizens in the country has become ritual that the news of souls being mowed in this senseless war do not come to many as surprise because it has become a tradition.

From Kastina, Kaduna, Kano, Niger, Benue to Imo States there is festival of blood that at its wake has left many wives windows and husbands widowers.  Disturbing is the fact that those behind these dastardly killings are seen walking freely on the streets of the country with impunity.  Myriads of efforts have been employed by the state actors to rein the activities of the non state actors to no avail thereby making the country a massive killing field.

The soured security personnel who have made it a point of duty to divulge vital information to the outlawed non state actors had made the activities of the non state actors a recurring decimal in the bid to end bloodletting in a country where if bullet does not kill you, hunger will do.
