Editorial – Nigeria Burns!

Nigeria, our country, is on fire! The government is on fire, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is equally on fire whether he admits it or not!

In a country where the citizens cannot feed well, such country is sick and ailing. A country where transportation cost has demobilized majority of citizens, such country is on life support. In a country where even nature and natural disasters are in pains and want to vent disastrous pangs on citizens as a form of protest that all is not well, that country is on fire.

In a country where criminal elements-bandits, kidnappers, armed robbers, ritualists and common purse embezzlers- are not scared to operate in broad daylight, that country is gone. Nigeria, oh Nigeria!

Virtually everyone is writhing in pain, even the rich and political class, they may be spending their loot, exactly what their ill acquired wealth sounds like, yet they are afraid of the unknown, afraid that the country can explode at any time soon. Time is of essence here. Nigerians have never been stretched this far until Bola Tinubu came tricking with his draconian formula. The formula of taxing people to penury, to death.

Nigerians can no longer bear. Who will rescue this nation?

Instead of finding solution to the myriad of problems besetting the citizens, Tinubu is busy hounding hungry and angry voices with illicit and frivolous charges of treasonable felony, including poor, hungry protesters.

Our piece of advice to the incumbent President is simple: “Whom the gods want to kill, they first make him bad”.
