A medical consultants Dr. Stanley Amadi, the Chief Medical Director of Pharez Spring Wellness and Diagnostic Hospital situated in One Rivers State, educates members of the Imo Freight Forwarder Association (IFFAN) on the importance of having a regular medical checkup in other to remain fit in the course of their job.

In brief Dr. Amadi defined health according to World Health Organization (WHO), as a state of complete well-being. The program took place at the September 2024 meeting of the association.
The health specialist pointed out three (3) aspects of health that needs to be taking care of, (a) physical health (b) mental health and (c) social health, he urged men and women experiencing regular urination and discharge of urine to pay special attention their health as it is also associated with aging and for those considering removing their prostrate to consult a specialist to avoid complications thereafter if not handled by dedicated doctors.
Further, Dr. Amadi emphasized more on the removal of prostrate does not stop one from enjoying sex, having erection and ejaculation for both meme and women but would no longer be able to make babies or impregnate a woman.
He added “Once one is 40 years age and above and have no need to making children, it’s advisable to remove the prostrate, so that one can have a better and quality life. When prostatectomy is done well by a trained urologist, you have good urination and good coitus.” he said.
Dr. Amadi advised members of Imo Freight Forwarders Association of Nigeria (IFFAN) to eat balanced food, drink treated water, do enough exercise, have adequate sleep at least not less than seven to eight hours, avoid slippery bathroom floors as it may pose danger to their lives and that their love ones.
Again he urged the members to as well, visit psychiatric hospitals, as they are not only meant for only insane people, but for normal human beings to also go and check their mental status and wellness which is very important as well.
Dr. Amadi praises the President of Imo Freight Forwarders Association of Nigeria (IFFAN) Sir Prominence Ezeoha and his Exco, for their wonderful initiative of having its members being educated on some important and critical health issues,
In his remarks, Mr. Chris Obi, BoT Secretary of the Association, thanked Dr. Stanley Amadi for his wonderful and educative lecturer on health related issues, affirming the readiness of the association to have more of such from him.
The President, Sir Prominence Ezeoha, advised members of the association to take advantage of the lecture and medical tests carried out by Dr. Amadi’s medical team, describing Dr. Amadi as an intelligent and one the best doctors who also happen to be his school mate, he urge members to utilize the opportunity on the various test conducted so far as health is wealth.
