The founder of Jesus Orphanage Educational Foundation popularly known as Fine Girl Jesus seeks public support for the home as she offers scholarship to orphans up to university level

The founder of Jesus Orphanage Home situated at Kailo Estate Elelenwo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Jesus Children’s Home, located at Area 1, World Bank Housing Estate Owerri, Imo State, Prophetess Fine Girl Jesus who is seen by many as Nigeria’s version of incomparable “Mother Theresa”, once again has exhibited her uncommon love and care for orphans on higher level.
The woman of God who was herself raised as an orphan who never knew the comforting hands of her biological parents, said she did menial jobs in early days of her life and raised money to train herself up to university level, spoke to Tentacle during scholarship award programme she organized to bring succour to orphans by paying their school fees and meeting their other pressing needs, including those studying Medicine and Surgery.
“I want to make sure that no orphan goes through what I went through in life as an orphan. I want people to know that orphans can also become what God want them to be in life. I discovered that people despise orphans a lot in our society. It is pity and unfortunate,” she said.
She said her heart bleeds for the plight of the orphans. So, with little funds at her disposal, she has left nothing unturned to see that as many as she can reach take their place among other children in acquiring modern education and useful skills through her educational foundation.
Prophetess Fine Girl Jesus further said that she would have opened Jesus Orphanage Home in all the major cities in the country and offered more scholarships to orphans studying in universities if she had the financial muscle to do so.
It is in line with her feeling that she embarked on various projects such as God’s Love Foundation which cater for widows. Through the foundation, many women especially the widows who used to bury their faces in rejection and dejection are now taking their places in history. And God’s Children Vision Foundation and Homeless Children.
To fulfill her vision and mission, she appealed to Nigerians to support her in giving indigent students and orphans scholarship and training aimed at catching them young and bring them up in the way of the Lord. And it is also to support her in the home’s charity giving campaign for Jesus Orphanage community, maintaining that through such support, people can be the solution to the feeding, clothing, medical and education of the orphans with a token, thereby making a generational impact.

While admitting the challenge faced in raising orphans who were abandoned due to socio-economic pressures, Fine Girl Jesus said the Orphanage Home has cause to be thankful to God saying: There are individuals, religious group and organizations that donate money and other items for the upkeep of the children at the home.
