Advanxis Technologies & Process Automation host 2025 National Automation Prize (NAP)

Advanxis Technologies & Process Automation Limited an IT training programming centre in automation instrumentation and control, electrical/ electronic engineering training, mechanical engineering training and engineering design software training, recently organized its National Automation Prize (NAP) during its 11th anniversary, dolling out millions of naira prize to the winners of the 2025 programming scripting, cording and algorithm challenge.
The annual event was established to directly support the nations industrialized and technology-driven economy, converting knowledge into capability, and capability into opportunity such as promoting practical industry-relevant technical skills, encouraging innovation that aligns with real industrial needs, bridging the gap between education and employability, fostering industrial-academia linkages and collaboration, creating a structured pathway for young Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to national productivity.
At the well-attended event to mark the end of the year get-together and to also present the cash prizes to the winners of the 2025 edition of the National Automation Prize (NAP) to encourage the youth, the Managing Director of the training centre and the organizer of the competition Mr. Anthony James said, “At Advanxis, we are committed to supporting Nigeria’s industrialization agenda through capacity building, practical training, knowledge transfer, and industry collaboration.
“The National Automation Prize is one of several initiatives through which we seek to support workforce development and technological advancement.
“This initiative is not a one-time event. It is designed to grow in scale, depth, and national impact, contributing consistently to Nigeria’s journey towards a more industrialized and technology-driven economy.”
While acknowledging the strong support of the sponsors, partners, professional institutions, and stakeholders he also encouraged the contestants, stating, “You represent the link between policy vision and practical execution. Your participation demonstrates that Nigerian youths are ready to design systems, solve problems, and drive industrial progress. You are not just competing for a prize; you are preparing yourselves to become contributors to national development.
“Nigeria is blessed with a youthful population rich in talent and creativity. However, sustainable employment is created not by theory alone, but by applied skills, competence, and innovation.”
The first, second and third position went home with the sum of N2.5 million, N1 million and N500,000 including consolation prizes of N100,000 each and the staff of Advanxis were also rewarded in the categories of best staff of the year, best dressed staff and most punctual staff all went home with the sum of two N200,000 each.
